What to build

Replace the tab navigation with a top bar: back/forward buttons backed by a navigation history, an always-visible search box that routes to a results page, and a settings gear. The app opens on Library. Existing pages render inside the new shell for now. Existing shortcuts (/, Ctrl+K) focus the search box. deezer:// and pasted deezer.com links land on the right page. Visible keyboard focus states. Light token cleanup (colours, spacing), dark only, hand-rolled CSS.

Acceptance criteria

  • Router and history logic extracted as plain functions with vitest tests (push, back, forward, truncating forward history)
  • Search box is always visible and routes to results; shortcuts still focus it
  • Back/forward move between album, artist, Playlist and search pages
  • Links open the right page in the new shell
  • Verified by running the app

Implemented in a9b9366 and 81e10ed: router/history with tests, top bar with back/forward, search and settings gear, links land on right page. Not yet verified by driving the running app (launched via tauri dev only).
