Low-battery notification for the Bridge's headset #110

What to build

When the headset on the Device's Bridge runs low, the Device shows a system notification, the way it already notifies about Tracks. The host already polls the Bridge Plugin for its status (Core::bridge_status, #105). Reuse the poll that #108 adds to watch the signal rather than starting a second one.

Notify once when the battery drops to 15% or below. Notify again only after it has been charged above that level (hysteresis, so a battery hovering around 15% does not spam). A Bridge that reports no battery (-1) or is unplugged never notifies.

Acceptance criteria

  • A Device with a Bridge notifies once when the headset battery drops to 15% or below
  • No repeat notification until the battery has gone back above the threshold
  • No notification without a Bridge, without a battery reading, or with the Bridge unplugged
  • Covered by a core integration test against the fake Bridge (tests/common), no hardware needed

Blocked by

  • #108 (shares its Bridge poll)

Implemented on integration branch automatic-handoff (merge 446af8c), with code-review fixes in merge fcc0d8d. Lands on main when that branch is pushed and merged.
